2 Timothy 1:6–7
There's a difference between having a gift and stewarding it. God has placed something inside each of us, not simply for our own fulfillment, but to serve, encourage, and impact the lives of others.
Yet sometimes, we allow fear, doubt, comparison, or the weight of responsibility to dim what God has entrusted to us.
Paul's reminder to Timothy is just as relevant today: Stir up the gift. Fan the flame. Not because God has stopped working, but because we have a responsibility to nurture what He's already placed within us.
And here's the beautiful part: God doesn't call us to operate in our own strength. He has equipped us with power to move forward, love to keep our motives anchored, and a sound mind to remain disciplined and intentional.
So whatever God has entrusted to you: your testimony, your gifts, your influence, your assignment, don't let fear convince you to bury it.
The calling is His. The stewardship is ours.
